Zimbabwe court outlaws early marriage

Zimbabwe’s Constitutional Court has outlawed customary child marriages, ruling that people below the age of 18 are not allowed to marry.
Children have been forced into early marriages for religious reasons in some parts of the country.
The government says that 31% of girls get married below the age of 18 even though that is against the constitution adopted in 2013.
