Two Years of Missing, US Still Helping in Search for Chibok Girls

As tomorrow marks two years since the girls were kidnapped by militant Islamist group Boko Haram, in an incident which sparked global outrage, it was recalled that on the night of 14–15 April 2014, about 276 female students were kidnapped from the Government Secondary School in the town of Chibok in Borno State, which an Islamic sec, Boko haram claimed the responsibility.
Moreover, there has been a severe battle between the Islamic sec and Nigerian forces that has claimed thousands lives.
However, recently the incumbent minister for information, Lai Mohammed came out to announce victory over the terrorists group though there have been attacks by the insurgence after the claim.
