Despite been one of the foremost critics of All Progressive Congress (APC), the Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose recognises the ruling party’s leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as an unavoidable leader in Nigeria.
the anti-Buhari administration governor described the former Lagos state Governor, Bola Tinubu, as a pillar in Yoruba land and Nigeria as a whole in a congratulatory message to mark Tinubu’s 64thbirthday.

Jagaban was born on March 29, 1952. He became the elected governor of the state under the aegis of Alliance for Democracy (AD) between May 29, 1999-2007. he created AC, which later became ACN.
Tinubu is believed to be the initiator of the converging of different political parties that formed All Progressive Congress, the now ruling party, he also holds the chieftaincy of Asiwaju of Lagos and the Jagaban of the Borgu kingdom of Northern Niger state.
It is believed that his personality gave victory to President Mohammadu Buhari, who had contested for the presidential seat for three times.
