Senator Oluremi Tinubu to Deliver Speech at Face of Trek Africa 2016

OLUREMIThe Chairman, Senate Committee on Women Affairs and Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has been specially Invited as the Chief Guest Speaker for the continental and empowerment beauty pageant; Face of Trek (FOT) Africa Beauty Pageant 2016 Billed to Hold Sunday 10th April.
Oluremi, wife of the former Lagos State governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will be addressing the audience on how the women can contribute to Africa’s economy development.
Other dignitaries expected at the event are Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr Awoniyi Samson, Mercy Aigbe, Chief Mrs Amina Temitope Ajayi popularly known as Mama Diaspora, Igwe Kelvin and Mrs Titi Badru.
Others are Hon Adesewa, Hon Adelaja, Annie Macaulay Idibia, Prince Olusegun Akonni-Shelle. Official Hosts of the Event are Wazobia OAPs, LOLO1, KBaba (Love Doctor), Amanda Ebeye and Mrs Adenike Fakayode.

The Face of Trek-Africa, according to the Head, International Planning Committee, Mrs Adenike Fakayode is geared at discovering, building and empowering the African Women to Live up their dream with its focal point to restore African values and rebuilding confidence among the youths.
“We are very proud to have, the distinguished Senator Oluremi as a Nigerian because, she is a pride of the African Women. She is a dedicated leading voice when it comes to women empowerment.
“Lot of women look up to her for the Exemplary lifestyle and unblemished believe in Africa’s unity that she has stood for. She is expected to speak on ‘Engaging the Women for Africa Economy Development’.
“We believe her speech will be an eye opener and mind empowerment for the women and the entire guests”, said Adenike
This year edition of the beauty pageant contest is tagged “My Passion, My Business” and will feature Business Entrepreneurship, Skill empowerment and Human Capacity building during the Boot Camp which will be facilitated by various proven Professionals. The annual event is also, away to lend a voice to the need for Africa as a continent to harness the potential of its female population for her development.
According to the Program director and Publisher of Trek Magazine, Mr Oki Samson Olatunji, the government should provide and enforce laws that will ensure there is level playing ground for girls and women to reduce discrimination, child abuse, sexual harassment, gender mutilation, domestic violence and child abduction which have been on the rise recently. Oki also encouraged the youths to be self confidence in whatsoever they are engaged on, highlighting the necessity for boldness and humility on the part of the female folk to salvage the society from the culture of patriarchy.
