As the controversy over leader within Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) swings the Self-acclaimed president of the body, Chris Giwa, and his board will appear before the sports committee of the federal House of Representatives in Abuja on Thursday.
They were earlier scheduled to meet with the committee on Tuesday.
Giwa and his subordinates claimed to be the legitimate body elected to run the affairs of Nigerian football, a development which has led him to a five-year ban from all football activities by the Amaju Pinnick-led group.
The committee had met with Pinnick and some members of his board and now Giwa faction is expected to visit the House of Representatives on May 26, 2016.
Giwa, however, has refused to appeal the ban, as he insists the Pinnick board remains illegal and has no such powers.
He and his group have been claiming to have been elected into the board of the NFF in Abuja on August 26, 2014, while Pinnick was elected in Warri, on September 30, 2014.
