Mamora Makes Buhari’s 46 Ambassadorial Nominees Sent to Senate

A former speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mr. Olorunnimbe Mamora has been shortlisted alongside 45 others as nominated Nigeria Ambassadors
The list was collated and sent to the Senate by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Also among the nominees are Pauline Tallen and Musa Ibeto who was formerly nominated minister before his nomination was withdrawn in 2015.
Mr. Mamora, who was elected to the Senate in April 2003 and reelected in 2007, is an ally of ex-Lagos Governor and national leader of the ruling party, All Progressive Conggress (APC), Bola Tinubu.
Ms. Tallen is a former Plateau State deputy governor while Mr. Ibeto is a former Niger State deputy governor.
The list includes Nurudeen Mohammed (Kwara),Jamila Ahmadu-Suka (Sokoto),Suleiman Hassan (Gombe), Yusuf Tugar (Bauchi), Usman Bugaje‎ (Katsina), Uzoma Emenike (Abia), Clifford Zirra (Adamawa), Godwin Umo (Akwa Ibom), Christopher Okeke (Anambra), Baba Madugu (Bauchi), Stanley Diriyai (Bayelsa), Enyantu Ifenne (Benue), Mohammed Hayatuddeen (Borno), Etuborn Asuquo (Cross River), Francis Efeduma (Delta), Jonah Odo (Ebonyi), Uyagwe. Igbe (Edo), Ayodele Ayodeji (Ekiti), Chris Eze (Enugu),Muhammad Dalhatu (Jigawa) and Mohammad Yaro (Kaduna)
Also in the nominees list are Deborah Iliya (Kaduna), D Abdulkadir (Kano), Haruna Ungogo (Kano), Isa Dodo (Katsina), Tijani Bande (Kebbi), Y O Aliu (Kogi), Mohammed Yisa (Kwara), Modupe Irele (Lagos), Musa Mohammad (Nasarawa), Ade Asekun (Ogun), Sola Iki (Ondo), Adegboyega Ogunwusi (Osun)
