ENDSARS PROTEST: Lagos workers salaries to be delayed -Muri-Okunola

Lagos state government has responsibly informed all civil servants in its employ that the EndSars protest has impacted on the processing of this month Salaries. According to a memo to all workers in the state, payment of October salaries will be delayed for few days. Usually, the state government pays it’s workers on the 25th of every month. The memo signed by the Head of Service, Hakeem Muri Okunola reads:
Dear all,
Due to the unfortunate outcome of the #endsars protest and the subsequent 24hrs curfew imposed on citizens of the State by Mr. Governor, I will like to inform you that processing of October, 2020 salaries for (Active, SUBEB, LGA/LCDA, Pension) etc. was impeded. In view of the foregoing, please be informed that payment of salaries will be delayed by a few days.
Kindly bear with us as all efforts are being made to ensure that payment is made in due course.
