Derele Edun Leads Other Hostesses on AFRIMA Red Carpet To Go Flat For Jagaban

afrima hosts2It was a glittering night at Eko Hotel Convention centre, Lagos during the much publicised All African Music Awards (AFRIMA) where the red carpet host Derele Edun and hostesses Maria Okanrende of Beat FM and Estelle Ahonda from Cameroon drew attention of the celebrities as they all went traditional to welcome a particular VIP. It was no other person than a reputable politico, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban Borgu. Much to the amazement of the celebrities around, they were however not surprised to see such respect accorded the politician.
The red carpet, dazzling with celebrities all over the continent of Africa, was anchored bilingually; English and French. Derele and Maria Okande Interviewed the English speaking celebrities, while, Estelle Ahonda had words with the French speaking guests.
Derele Edun is a presenter, whose choice of fashion and creativeness is an eye-glue. He is a half-cast, born to a Nigeria-Yoruba father by an Indian-Mauritius Mother.

Delere’s cheerfulness and his choice of dress was an attraction on the red carpet.
Maria Okanrende is a co-host of The Morning Rush on the Beat 99.9 FM who also hosts TV gigs. She played the role of Foye on the 3rd season of MTV’s Shuga.
The hostess, whose appellation is Maria Okan of Beat Fm, is a UK trained presenter with vast experience working with BBC, MTV and DROPOUT UK.
Okanrende’s simple all black outfit for the red carpet was alluring and beautiful.
Estelle Ahonda is a Cameroonian bilingual (English/French) communications and brand management expert. She comes with over ten years of International experience in media and interpersonal communications.
Estelle appearance in slick shoulder-free long gown along with hair that was garnished with blue colour gave her a tremendous look at the event.
The presence of Asiwaju Tinubu, who was adorned in white Agbada along with black native cap with his signature, was not just to be a witness to the giving of awards to the awardees, he was also decorated with a trophy as Pillar of Arts and Culture in Africa by the Afirca Union (AU) representative.
