C.A.C Prophet in Police Net Over Fraud Scandal

Prophet Gabriel Adeoti of Christ Apostolic Church, Orioke Aluyo Ijebu Ode was today summarily detained at Zone 2 police, Onikan over a petition by one of the estranged members of the church who alleged fraud, land grabbing and threat to life. This was confirmed to News of the People by the Public Relations Unit.
According to the police, a petition was written against the self acclaimed man of God and a letter of invitation was extended to the prophet which he honoured today.
“Having responded to the allegations, the prophet and the complainant are expected to come back in April for further action” said he.

A particular allegation against Adeoti bothers on forceful take over of a property said to belong to one Sunday Betiku.
He alleged that the church took over his land in Harmony estate via ‘spiritual’ tricks and was later molested and threatened when he demanded for his land.
The petition sighted by the News of the People narrated how poloce in Ijebu Ode has turned to a willing tool in the hand of the prophet who has boasted of being above the law.
However, a source hinted of a brewing sex scandal that may soon explode in the church as allegations and counter allegations are already flying around among members.
A particular case was an alleged voice note being circulated in the church that bothers on the morality of the shepherd.
