Spokesman of pan-Yoruba socio-political group Afenifere, Comrade Yinka Odumakin is dead. He’s believed to have died of complications from COVID-19.
The activist died at a treatment centre in Lagos where he had been receiving intensive care aided by ventilator.
His medical case became worse as a result of serious underlining conditions including diabetes, lung-related issues and a mild stroke he suffered a few years ago.
The family is yet to issue official statement.
