The Adeniji-Adele Royal Family strongly condemn in its totality the INVASION and looting of the great Palace of the Oba of Lagos. It is with greatest shock that the family heard the news of the vandalisation of items of our traditional and ancestral heritage.
This desecration is completely unacceptable and a traditional abomination with grave consequences for the perpetrators of these acts.
We, the Oba Adeniji Adele Descendants hereby condemn this ugly incident and also stand in total solidarity with our dear Royal Father, His Royal Majesty OBA RILIWANU BABATUNDE OSUOLOLALE AREMU AKIOLU 1,the Oba of Lagos and all White Cap Chiefs of Lagos in this trying period.
The family further condemns the murder of innocent Nigerians and the hijack of the peaceful EndSars protest, destruction of public facilities and properties across our great State.
The vandalisation on our ancestral Home was an attack on the indigenes of Lagos and very alien to our great culture.
The family therefore calls on all indigenes of Lagos to rise up and protect our traditional and ancestral heritage of Lagos.
Anyone behind the desecration and violation of Iga Idunganran shall know no peace and will ultimately be humiliated.

Buhari condemns violation of OBA of Lagos Palace.

President Muhammad Buhari has condemned the violation of the sanctity of the palace of the OBA of Lagos by hoodlums operations under the guise of End sars protests.

In his speech to Nigerians on 22nd of October 2020 following the widespread violence triggered by the Lekki Shooting , the President condemned the widespread destruction and vandalization of property including the palace of the OBA of Lagos .
The president singled out for the mention the vandalization and violation of the sanctity of the Palace of the OBA of Lagos whom he described as a peace maker.

He warned that continuing with the protests and violence would amount to undermining national security and that it would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
