The Nigeria Police force leadership received more on Tuesday as the Traditional Rulers from Lavun Local Government in Niger State led by the Emir of Kutigi, Alhaji Husseini Wuchi paid a courtesy call on The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Ibrahim Idris.
The visit was made known in a press release authenticated by the Force Public Relations Officer, Don n. Awunah via facebook.
During the visit, the Emir of Kutigi, stated that the visit is to congratulate him, show their solidarity and support to the IGP for his new appointment.
Wuchi, on behalf of other Traditional Rulers present, expressed confidence in the IG’s leadership qualities which he believes would take Nigeria Police force to an enviable height.
In addition, he also suggested that more Police Stations be built in Kutigi to improve the Police presence in the community.
The IGP in company of his management team thanked the Royal Fathers for coming and expressed profound gratitude for the honour and respect done on him.
He further promised to look into their request.
