Tension in Tunisian protest city

Tensions remain high in the central Tunisian city of Kasserine and in other towns nearby.
There are local media reports of fresh protests today, following two days of confrontations between police and demonstrators calling for jobs, development and an investigation into alleged corruption of local authorities.
Amateur and local news footage of the protests in Kasserine show mostly young men burning tyres and hurling stones at the police before being met with a volley of tear gas.
More than 200 people were reportedly treated for tear-gas inhalation overnight.
The protests were sparked by the death of young graduate Ridha Yahyaoui on Sunday.
Several accounts say he died from electrocution after climbing a utility pole in protest against the dismissal of a job application by local authorities.
