PMB Condoles Mali, Pledges Support

President Muhammadu Buhari has sympathised with Mali over a terrorist attack on a hotel in Bamako, Mali, in which claimed the life of about 27.
This was made known on Saturday via a statement released by the President’s special adviser on media, Femi Adeshina in Abuja. The President also extends his condolence to the countries of the victims.
Buhari, who condemned the heartless attack, assured President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita and the people of Mali of the full support and solidarity of the Federal Government and people of Nigeria.
He said that as they mourned those who lost their lives, Nigeria would support all efforts to bringing the surviving perpetrators of the act to justice.
The President also extended his condolences to the governments and people of China, Russia, the United States and Belgium, whose nationals lost their lives in the callous attack.
President Buhari reiterated his call for an intensification of international cooperation against all known terrorist organisations, their collaborators and sponsors in view of the persistent terror attacks across the world.
According to him, Nigeria remains committed to deploying all necessary resources and working with friendly nations, and global organisations to speedily overcome the continuing threat of terrorism to world peace and security.
