How Primate Ayodele Foretold APC’s Presidential Victory

PRIMATE AYODELE PIXProphets have always played a very important part in the unfolding of the plan and purpose of God. The Bible has much to say about prophets. And from the Bible, we see two things. First; prophets are humble and sincere. Though, they serve an infallible God, in themselves they are not infallible.
Much has been said about the just concluded Nigeria’s presidential election which held on Saturday, March 28th 2015. Men of God, ahead of the election, had delivered warnings and promises of God on the nation.
Primate Ayodele Elijah, the founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, is one of the men of God who foretold the coming of General Muhammadu Buhari as president. He said categorically that Buhari has the chances of winning if he does not rely too much on the glory of the past. And for the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan, Primate Ayodele said ‘I see Jonathan winning by a very slim margin but he must obey God’s warnings by being careful of those that work with him”.
But because people usually criticize what they don’t understand, the prophet’s messages were misread, while critics overlook the fact that there is a limit to which level we can all function in spiritual ability.
In interviews granted in different newspaper houses, divine messages concerning various happenings in Nigeria, regarding the last general elections, were revealed.
In The Guardian of Saturday July 13, 2013 page 13, Primate Elijah Ayodele foretold point blank “Jonathan will not win in 2015”. In the Saturday Independent of January 3, 2015 on page 8, the servant of God sais “APC will win Sokoto, PDP will find it hard to retain Kaduna, Kano and Katsina States will be difficult for PDP to win, but PDP will win in Delta, Cross River and I foresee crisis in Abia State”. Also, in the same medium, Primate Ayodele warned that “attempts by the opposition parties to defeat Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State will not materialize. The election in Rivers State will be marred by violence”. In Kwara State, The man of God said, “because the PDP has messed up in Kwara, the victory will go to APC”.
In the Top Celebrities magazine of Tuesday Jan. 21 2014, on page 15, Primate Ayodele revealed thus: “INEC will use electronic voting system but it will not work”. Ahead of this particular prediction, the Primate had warned Nigerians to watch out as, he said, “the rigging in the 2015 general elections will be advanced and scientific. Nigeria will seek help to fight Boko Haram”.
“There will be controversy in INEC and there will be changes in our modalities of elections, they will use electronic machines which will not work”.
“Should President Goodluck Jonathan win, he will do by a slim margin”.
In Sunday Tribune of Jan. 5, 2014, page 54 and 56, Primate Ayodele said that “APC will fail in Delta, Rivers and Cross River States. All efforts to curb rigging will not work as expected. Northern Governors’ Forum will break because of Jonathan’s ambition”. The respected cleric also forewarned on the Akwa Ibom State election. He said “If Governor Akpabio pick a wrong candidate, there will be problem for the PDP”, while the Primate foretold that “Rivers next election will be volatile but Nigeria will not break in 2015”.
Primate Ayodele also said in an interview granted the Saturday Independent of Dec. 21, 2013, page 8, that “the northerners will continue to gang up against the president. There will be lots of strange hide and seek political games in Aso Rock. In Ondo State, a Labour Party man will not succeed Mimiko in future election as the party will crash due to crisis”.
Primate Ayodele reiterated his earlier message for President Jonathan in this interview. He said “Let President Jonathan hands off second term ambition”.
In the Daily Independent 2014/Jan. 2015, the Primate said “President Goodluck Jonathan will be ‎the last PDP president to rule Nigeria”. It is in this same publication that he foretold many other events of national importance that have come to pass. He had said that ‎“Jonathan will not take Nigeria to the Promised Land. The 2015 elections will be characterized by advanced rigging as both PDP and APC will share victory across the country particularly in the South-West and the North. The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, will be cajoled to rig the elections. There will be several gimmicks to cajole the INEC to rig the election and prayers must be offered so that the commission will not lose some of its staff to accident or attack before and during the election. E-voting will not work. There will be ballot box snatching and stuffing during the election. The APC committed a blunder with the choice of Akinwunmi Ambode as governorship candidate for Lagos State. PDP will spring surprises and shock APC. If PDP works hard, the party will win Lagos governorship. However, the party’s candidate, Jimi Agbaje, needs prayers because APC will attempt massive rigging in order to claim victory. ‎APC will face an uphill task to retain Edo State. In Rivers State, if PDP underrates APC, the latter will win, though the election will be marred with violence.
The man of God speaks further in the publication “‎If APC elects the right governorship candidate; the party will dislodge PDP from Ondo State in the 2015 election and even in 2016. PDP will win Delta and Cross River states but there will be crisis in Abia and Ebonyi states even though the party will win there. APC will win in Sokoto. PDP will find it hard to retain Kaduna State because there will be serious crisis there. Kano State will be difficult for PDP to win, so also Katsina State. PDP will win Taraba. PDP has messed up in Kwara, the victory will go to APC. Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro, should pray against political disappointment. Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, will not be able to make appreciable impact on the economy. Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, will have crises and may be denied a second term. Vice President Sambo should pray against what can make him witness political redundancy in office after 2015 polls.
In an interview he granted Global Excellence magazine of Sept/Nov. 2014, Primate Ayodele revealed, among several other messages: “I foresee the 2015 election being postponed. Nigeria will come out en masse to vote in 2015. President Jonathan can only win second term if he handles the issues of the Chibok Girls well and security challenges facing the nation. President Jonathan must work on first lady’s office because this is one of the factors that may work against his second term victory.
In Sunday Nation of Nov. 2014, the man of God said: “I see a new government coming up in this country. If APC embarks on aggressive grassroots campaign, the party will win presidential election in 2015, but if they rest on the past glory of Buhari, PDP will win. Vice Presidential ticket will be zoned to the South- west.
In the interview granted the Sunday Sun of December 28, 2014, Primate Ayodele foretold that, “the International Community will go against Jonathan’s 2015 ambition. President Jonathan will have problem winning the core northern states.
In Sunday Newswatch of February 22, 2015, he said: “President Jonathan will lose out”.
According to the respected man of God, this tells us that, fulfilled prophecy is proof of God. It also proves that God spoke through His prophets as recorded in the Bible for our benefit today. Fulfilled prophecy should motivate us to look at the prophecies of the future and realize that they will come to pass as well.
