Former Nigerian Ambassador To Greece Dies At 73years

A professor of history and former Nigerian Ambassador to Greece and Australia, Prof. Oludare Agbi, died this morning after a brief illness.

Agbi, who was the chairman of the Elders Forum of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ondo State, died at the age of 73.

It was learnt that Agbi, who is also the Asiwaju of Akure Kingdom, died in the early hours of Wednesday following a battle with an undisclosed illness.

A family source confimed the death of the Chairman, Elders Council of the People Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State but refused to give details.

He was one of the delegates at the just concluded national convention of the PDP held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, over the weekend.
