Eventful In Partnership with FirstBankThe Nigeria Super Eagles’ boss, Sunday Oliseh has began fine-tuning tactics to ensure that victory is certain against Tanzania side in Dar es Salaam come Saturday as full squad resume training today in final preparation for the 2017 African Nations Cup qualifier against.
In a statement made earlier today by the team’s Media Officer, Toyin Ibitoye, stated that all the invited foreign-based players were expected to be in camp for this morning’s training session, adding that the Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh, decided to begin training today to ensure he has the full compliment of the invited players on the opening day.
He further said that the former Eagel’s skiper, Oliseh has vowed to only select the capable legs for the tie angainst Taifa Stars.
Among the home-based players, who joined the overseas-based counterparts in training today are Sunshine Stars duo of Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Prince Aggreh, as well as Solomon Kwambe of Warri Wolves, Austin Obaroakpo of Abia Warriors, U-23 team star, Mohammed Usman and Sharks’ Chima Akas.
Meanwhile, former Super Eagles goalkeeper trainer, Joe Erico, has urged Oliseh to give the domestic players equal opportunity with the their foreign-based compatriots in the fight for jerseys, saying it would build more confidence on the local players.
