That the former Skye bank managing director and chairman of Heritage bank, Akinsola Akinfenwa is heavily into properties might be stating the obvious. The good news however is that a new hotel project of three-star  located in the business district of Ikeja has been linked to the banker. It was gathered that the hotel, just been completed is set to open on February 14 to celebrate the famous Valentine’s day. Already Ibis hotel group contracted to manage the hotel is said to have taken charge and concluded arrangements to open for business.

The hotel

The hotel is located right behind the Skye bank regional office in Alausa, opposite the Ikeja shopping mall with Elephant House as its neighbour. As Expected, tongues are wagging that the land in which the hotel was built on might have been appropriated from Skye bank while he was the boss. Attempts to seek the views of workers at the newly completed hotel was unsuccessful as they have been instructed no to divulge critical information as to ownership to the public.

Apart from many of his choice preoperties scattered arounf the country, one that is vet popular is the Premiere building on Ajose Adeogun in Victoria Island. This is on account of the fact the richest woman in Africa, Mrs Folorunsho Alakija is a tenent there.

  1. Dear Sir/Madam
Pheliwa School of Success is a school that is primarily designed to assist learners who had interest to enrol with the university but could not meet the university entry requirements owing to poor matric results or inability to sit for exams for various reasons. It provides learners a second chance to upgrade/better their symbols, so that they are able to qualify for university entry in the following year. Our vision and mission statement is to further ensure tertiary-oriented results and employable work force.- to contribute to the community by helping disadvantaged learners who cannot help themselves. – to encourage positive attitude amongst learners, educators, school management and parents in order to be responsible citizens, so that is reason why i am looking for the sponsorship in the form of money to buy or rent enough building to accommodate a minimum of 500 learners per year- i want to open this project again in Pinetown or Verulam or Tongaat or Kwadukuza. This project need the big building so that can accommodate them during exams and tuitions. To buy the building we need a minimum of ten million rands but to rent it for a minimum of four years is +-R5million but to build the entire university to teach Education,Filming,Nursing etc we will need about R300millions.

    Kindly Regards
