Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, has partnered Human Resources Managers, HRM of the companies whose employees subscribe to its Workplace Banking offerings to increasing employee productivity through engagement.
The bank also launched its Silver Banking product immediately after the seminar to inform their clients of the benefit available to them using digital banking platform.
The Head, Personal Banking, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Ms. Nkolika Okoli stated that the seminar was part of its support for corporate entities whose employees subscribe to its Workplace Banking services.

This year ‘Workplace Banking Seminar’ , according to her was the second time the bank has organized the workshop as it comes on the heels of the bank’s hugely successful employee engagement sessions it started in 2015, which it holds in respective clients’ offices with a view to equipping them with vital financial management knowledge aimed at impacting employee financial literacy as well as improving on overall financial well-being for employees and essentially drive their business efficiency, productivity, profitability, bottom-line, continuity, growth and sustainability.
Professor Franca Ovadje of the Lagos Business School, who delivered keynote lecture, urged heads of departments in various companies to make their subordinates assumed responsibilities.
According to her “What to do to get high performance is to develop Key Performance Indicators, KPIs linked to corporate; develop skill in objectives settings; and track performance.”
